Records
All records of moths
should be sent to the relevant Macro
and Micro moth recorders, detailed below - replace [at] with @.
Details of moths caught and identified can be submitted on spreadsheet or
word or excel document,
and should include the following as a minimum:
-
Name of recorder
-
Species
-
Number seen
-
Location with OS ref
-
Date (if overnight light trap, the date the trap set rather than the date
checked)
-
For rare or unusual species, a photograph would be useful.
Record spreadsheet
- Please feel free use the
spreadsheet developed by Les Hill to
send in records.
Sending your records in - towards the end of the year,
please submit your
records to the County recorders. Records can then be
assessed, and sent on to the DERC, and highlights included
in the reports produced for this website. Records can be sent in tabular
form, a copy of the approved spreadsheet may assist in
this respect. Please do not assume that submitting
to this website is sufficient, so please send your
records to Peter Davey and Phil Sterling
(details above).
Website
